Discerning the Times - Conference 2010

We are excited to have two very accomplished authors and speakers, Eric Barger and Gary Kah, to provide vital information on topics ranging from Christian apologetics to the Global government.

Eric is widely recognized in the area of Christian Apologetics Ministry. His Take A Stand! Ministries confronts both culture and the Church, focusing on the Cults, World Religions, the Occult, Spiritual Warfare and most particularly the troubling non-biblical trends and doctrinal issues facing Christians in these end days. Boy Scouts Prepare to be Prepared

Maybe we should learn something from the Boy Scouts. Back in the 1930's and 1940's people understood that they needed to be prepared to take care of themselves. They knew that it was up to them to make sure that their family was taken care of. If they needed help it would come from a neighbor, a friend, a relative or the church.

Let's see how far we've come. Now days our entire population has been educated to (falsely) think that the government is our friend or neighbor and will protect us and take care of us in the event of an emergency or catastrophe.

Wake up people - that isn't going to happen. We all need to get back to the basics and be prepared for hard times. That could come in the form of loosing a job (unemployment rates - the actual numbers are around 20%) or an earthquake or an economic collapse.

Gerald Celente, a top trends forecaster, has some good words of wisdom for being prepared.

Are you discerning the times? When hard times come - will you be ready? Or have you bought the lie that government is going to help you?

Hate crimes, which is nothing more than a political correct term for thought control and a way to label those that don't have their mind "right". Here we have children as young as 5 years old that could soon be added to "hate registers" for showing disrespect to homosexuality. The thought police are real - and they want (or already have) control of your kid's mind!

Big government is here to protect you. Sure they are? Isn't there a document that was written about about 235 years ago that specifically prohibits illegal searches and seizures? Doesn't the government have to have just cause in order to invade our privacy? The answer - NO! Is this Germany or Italy or Russia in the 1930's? YES!

What's next? They'll just come to your house and preform searches without a warrant. Why? Because they can. And because we didn't stop them!

Can anyone wonder what is wrong with our "churches" - which used to make a difference in our society. Oh, but they still do....they've become infiltrated and infatuated with the alternative "thinkers" and fast talkers and let their guard down....and have become like the world. We have become them!

Where has the discernment in the Nazarene church gone?

What is the Ring of Fire? Is the U. S. next?

Here are some interesting numbers from the U. S. Geological Survey. This website has good information and a link to the U. S. G. S.




The world total for all size earthquakes in 1990 was 16,590 and the U. S. total was 2,268. In the year 2008 the world total was 31,777 and the U. S. total was 3,618.

Please remember that, just as in the global warming fraud, the numbers can play games. In the year 2009 the USGS no longer locates earthquakes smaller than magnitude 4.5 outside the United States, unless we receive specific information that the earthquake was felt or caused damage.

In other words, they decided to stop counting some earthquakes. So remember that the number goes down, but only because they don't include all of them. Kinda like if a tree falls in the woods and nobody felt it or if it didn't fall on a house, did it really happen? -- Great logic smart guys!

Wikipedia states that the Pacific Ring of Fire is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean.

The events and signs are happening so rapidly that we can't keep up. You must watch the attached video - Fall of the Republic.

Here are a few headlines:

In the news the past two months we've had two massive earth quakes, first in Haiti and today in Chile, with tsunami warnings for the Pacific.

A day before the second major earthquake in two months, the headline that we should have been paying attention to, but was quickly overshadowed by the news in Chile, is the call for the IMF to consider a new global reserve asset. Are you awake yet?

I wish I would have written this. Actually I did say something similar in a previous blog - relating to throwing the bums out and replacing them with more bums. Chuck Baldwin does it again with this article about America being (or already is) a police state.

Here is more mind control by the government in charge. The U. S. Air Force retracted a speaking invitation to a Christian leader because he criticized Obama's policy on homosexuality in the military. It must be government's policy that if you don't agree with them they will silence you.

Next we have more apostasy from the social gospel folks, who continues to push Big Government, social justice (code for communism) and statism off as Christianity. Hey - we know what it is! And it's not Christianity.
