Boy Scouts Prepare to be Prepared
Maybe we should learn something from the Boy Scouts. Back in the 1930's and 1940's people understood that they needed to be prepared to take care of themselves. They knew that it was up to them to make sure that their family was taken care of. If they needed help it would come from a neighbor, a friend, a relative or the church.
Let's see how far we've come. Now days our entire population has been educated to (falsely) think that the government is our friend or neighbor and will protect us and take care of us in the event of an emergency or catastrophe.
Wake up people - that isn't going to happen. We all need to get back to the basics and be prepared for hard times. That could come in the form of loosing a job (unemployment rates - the actual numbers are around 20%) or an earthquake or an economic collapse.
Gerald Celente, a top trends forecaster, has some good words of wisdom for being prepared.
Are you discerning the times? When hard times come - will you be ready? Or have you bought the lie that government is going to help you?

Big government is here to protect you. Sure they are? Isn't there a document that was written about about 235 years ago that specifically prohibits illegal searches and seizures? Doesn't the government have to have just cause in order to invade our privacy? The answer - NO! Is this Germany or Italy or Russia in the 1930's? YES!

Sin is Sin - No matter how fast you talk!
Warning - he has strong views and language to describe his form of Christianity. According to his bio he is a sociologist and theologian. You must hear what is being taught at "Christian" universities.

Can anyone wonder what is wrong with our "churches" - which used to make a difference in our society. Oh, but they still do....they've become infiltrated and infatuated with the alternative "thinkers" and fast talkers and let their guard down....and have become like the world. We have become them!

What is the Ring of Fire? Is the U. S. next?
Here are some interesting numbers from the U. S. Geological Survey. This website has good information and a link to the U. S. G. S.The world total for all size earthquakes in 1990 was 16,590 and the U. S. total was 2,268. In the year 2008 the world total was 31,777 and the U. S. total was 3,618.
Please remember that, just as in the global warming fraud, the numbers can play games. In the year 2009 the USGS no longer locates earthquakes smaller than magnitude 4.5 outside the United States, unless we receive specific information that the earthquake was felt or caused damage.
In other words, they decided to stop counting some earthquakes. So remember that the number goes down, but only because they don't include all of them. Kinda like if a tree falls in the woods and nobody felt it or if it didn't fall on a house, did it really happen? -- Great logic smart guys!
Wikipedia states that the Pacific Ring of Fire is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean.

More Signs - Are You Discerning the Times?
The events and signs are happening so rapidly that we can't keep up. You must watch the attached video - Fall of the Republic.
Here are a few headlines:
In the news the past two months we've had two massive earth quakes, first in Haiti and today in Chile, with tsunami warnings for the Pacific.
A day before the second major earthquake in two months, the headline that we should have been paying attention to, but was quickly overshadowed by the news in Chile, is the call for the IMF to consider a new global reserve asset. Are you awake yet?
I wish I would have written this. Actually I did say something similar in a previous blog - relating to throwing the bums out and replacing them with more bums. Chuck Baldwin does it again with this article about America being (or already is) a police state.
Here is more mind control by the government in charge. The U. S. Air Force retracted a speaking invitation to a Christian leader because he criticized Obama's policy on homosexuality in the military. It must be government's policy that if you don't agree with them they will silence you.
Next we have more apostasy from the social gospel folks, who continues to push Big Government, social justice (code for communism) and statism off as Christianity. Hey - we know what it is! And it's not Christianity.

Tyranny - Always the Enemy of Freedom
Regardless of his political or religious views (sometimes they get it right without trying), Charles Peguy had a direct hit when he penned - "Tyranny is always better organised than freedom".
Until we the American people wake up and do more than just complain, the tyrannical power hungry politicians in government and the banksters will continue to give us more of the same. We must do more than just throw the bums out - we must send good people to run the affairs of local, state and federal government. If we continue to send the same bums (regardless of party) and expect a different result...what does that make us?
In the words of Robert Benchley - "I have tried to know absolutely nothing about a great many things, and I have succeeded fairly well". If we continues this philosophy...we are doomed!
To use another phrase - Absolute power corrupts absolutely!

Since most people understand the terms left and right - politically speaking, we now have those same words describing the liberal church and the conservative church.

Is This the End of America?
In just a few short years our economic clout has melted just like the snow in Washington DC. The news of collapse is everywhere. Is this by design?

Americans have no one to blame but themselves. America bought the lies of the politicians and the media and ignored the warning signs about what "change" really meant.

We all need to be Preppers

Israel and Iran - Attention Please
US Secretary of State Clinton is going through the motions of getting these two enemy nations to make up and play nice, but it's not going to happen. Iran wants Israel removed from the face of the planet, by whatever means they possible.
Clinton is now threatening Iran saying "we will not stand idly by". Has Obama found a box of intestinal fortitude that has been packed away since he was a child in Indonesia?
Shabtai Shavit, former chief of Israel's Massad intelligence agency said in an interview with Aaron Klein of World Net Daily that "a nuclear Iran with the present regime of the extremists' fanaticism - this is a threat of a survival scale".
Author of the book Isralestine, Bill Salus, has posted some very disturbing events that have been taking place in the past few months. Iran is going nuclear...attention please.

Times are changing
Do you remember when things were what they seemed and you could take people at their word or a hand shake meant something more than just an introduction? Wow - have times changed. We want to explore how to keep up with this rapidly changing world. People are scared and wanting answers to complex issues.
Our goal is to inform and prepare people for the events that are rearranging our country and our world at lightening speed. To keep up, one would have to check the daily news posts of our economic and political events every few minutes.
We have to be a student of our times in order to protect ourselves and our families, both physically and spiritually. Being scared is not necessary if you are prepared.
